A number of important organizations and agencies in the Greater Sacramento Area have come together to host a regional forum for 150 business, government and civic leaders on the implications of the Bay Delta Conservation Plan (BDCP) on this metro area.  Four areas will be explored in-depth:  economic impacts and job growth; land use; environmental implications, and water availability.  The Forum will be MC'd by Valley Vision Board Chairman, Scott Syphax, CEO of the Nehemiah Companies, and "Studio Sacramento" TV host.  California Director for the Department of Water Resources Mark Cowin will shed light on the BDCP and offer important insights.  After general session comments, break-out sessions led by local content experts will uncover additional facts and information.  Q&A sessions are planned.

The goal of the forum is to provide an independent, fact-driven forum to increase understanding and awareness of the Bay Delta Conservation Plan among area decision-makers.
