Senior Vice President and Area Manager, Kaiser Permanente

As the Senior Vice President and Area Manager for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals/Health Plan in Roseville, Jeff has responsibility for all local health plan and hospital services at the 340-bed Roseville Medical Center and, partnering with physician leaders, is responsible for the health care of more than 280,000 Kaiser Permanente members.

Kaiser Permanente insures about one-third of the Greater Sacramento region’s population and has nearly 12,000 employees and more than 1,540 physicians. The not-for-profit organization is the largest care provider in the region.

Jeff began his position in January 2015. Prior to that, he had served since 2008 as the senior vice president and area manager for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals/Health Plan in Fresno.

He began his career as CEO of Sun Coast Hospital where he spent 13 years leading the Tampa Bay area hospital. In 2002, he was the COO at Bon Secours Cottage Health System. Jeff then relocated to Michigan where in 2005 he was CEO at Bon Secours Cottage Health System.

Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, and a master’s degree in Health Care Administration from California State University Long Beach.

He is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives. Throughout his career he has been active in leadership roles on a number of boards and community associations, including: The American Heart Association, Board Chair and Heart Walk Chair; CASA of Fresno and Madera Counties, Program Committee Chair and Board Chair; Fresno First Steps Home, Vice Chair; Numerous Chambers of Commerce; and Economic Development Committee of Fresno County, Board member.
