Linda is the Chief Executive Officer for the Sacramento Region Community Foundation. She was the former Deputy Director of Commercial Strategy for the Sacramento County Airport, the former President and Chief Executive Officer of the Mercy Foundation, and has also served as Vice President, Corporate Communications and Corporate Responsibility for GenCorp, parent company of Aerojet. During her tenure at GenCorp she served as President of the GenCorp Foundation and Chairman of the Aerojet and GenCorp PAC, the company's political action committee. Prior to joining GenCorp in 2002, Linda worked for what is now DST Systems in numerous marketing capacities including Vice President of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations.
Linda has been a resident of Sacramento for 19 years and has been very active in the community. Widely recognized as a thoughtful and effective business and civic leader, Linda has served on numerous non-profit boards and commissions. She was Chair of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce in 2009. Under Linda's leadership, the Chamber launched its highly successful MetroEdge program geared toward fostering and connecting the next generation of regional leaders. She is also a member of the Next Economy and the Drexel University Advisory Boards. She is an American Leadership Forum Senior Fellow. A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Linda holds a bachelor's degree in political science, and completed professional development course work at the University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business. She is the very proud mother of two adult children, Jay and Tiernan.
