Alan has worked in the Sacramento region’s non-profit sector for more than twelve years. His experience has centered on designing and coordinating research and planning projects within the health and human services field and partnering with individuals, community groups, and other stakeholders to promote and carry out policy and program objectives. Alan has successfully led dozens of reseach and planning projects aimed at improving the quality and impact of health and social services in the Sacramento region. He brings a data-driven mind set and a zeal for collaboration necessary to achieve community-wide results.
Alan is passionate about the non-profit sector and the transformational role it plays in making the Sacramento region an outstanding place to live, work, and play. Although resources in the non-profit sector are often limited, through his executive leadership he has set policies and practices in place that lead to efficient and effective results.
Although not officially diagnosed, Alan may very well be a workaholic, given his passion for his community. But when not at work, he loves soaking up the sun with his wife, son, and dog. Whether it be cheering on his mighty California Golden Bears at Memorial Stadium, wakeboarding, playing ball with son (and dog), or simply finding projects to do in the yard, if the sun is out, you’ll find Alan in it.
