Electric Vehicle Virtual Advisory Series (August & September 2021)

Part one of our Electric Vehicle Virtual Advisory Series took place on Friday, August 27th, 2021. This event included presentations on the trends and opportunities within the zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) space, an overview of the policy implications of state and federal regulations, and input from community-based programs that are dedicated to providing the region’s ZEV workforce with the training they need to be successful.

As California makes the switch to widespread electric vehicle transportation, the Greater Sacramento Region needs to ensure our training programs keep pace and provide access to traditionally disinvested populations.

Part two of our Electric Vehicle Virtual Advisory Series took place on Friday, September 17th, 2021. This advisory featured a panel of employers and industry stakeholders on current and emerging skills needed across the range of electric vehicle-related occupations.
