Early Childhood Education Careers Conversation

The Sacramento Region, like most of the nation, faces critical workforce shortages in Early Childhood Education occupations needed to support working families. Join us virtually on December 6th from 12:30 – 2:00 PM for a conversation on this important topic.

This event will include a presentation of key findings and recommendations from the recently released Early Childhood Education Workforce Needs Assessment published by the Center of Excellence and Valley Vision. This report details the current landscape of the industry, upcoming market pressures, and sets forth a series of recommendations for further investigation and possible implementation. There will be a panel discussion to begin the conversation including representatives from Head Start, Sacramento County Office of Education, City of Sacramento, Sacramento State’s College of Education, and others.
