With 19 years of experience at VSP Global, a degree in marketing, and an MBA in finance, George has served in a variety of roles, mostly notably within market research and as a corporate business analyst. But since 2013 after the founding of the company’s new innovation arm, The Shop, George has lead the integration of Design Thinking philosophy across VSP Global businesses and community partners. Utilizing human-centered design and lean methodologies, his work drives new ideation in The Shop to help more than 77 million members see and foster a company-wide culture of innovation. In his role, George leads teams through discovery research, synthesis, ideation, and the design and testing of new concepts.
